What Products Are Covered?
TRIMAX ™, a division of Wyers Products Group, Inc., offers this Limited Lifetime Warranty for all TRIMAX ™-branded products that do not contain electrical components (“Product”). Products with electrical components, such as alarm locks and flashlight keys, are excluded from this Warranty and may be subject to separate terms. *
-
Who Is Covered?
This Warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the Product (“You”). To process a Warranty Claim, You must provide an original sales receipt as proof of purchase along with clear photos of the intact Product. This information is essential to identify product defect issues. Your claim WILL NOT be assessed if any of this information is not submitted in your Claim.

What Does This Warranty Cover?
TRIMAX™ warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as You own it, under normal use. If a mechanical defect is confirmed, TRIMAX™ will replace the product. The only cost You will be responsible for is shipping, as freight and shipping charges are not covered by the TRIMAX™ Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the terms below.
What Is Not Covered: This Warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- User Error or Negligence: Including misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Unauthorized Alterations: Cutting, modifying, or altering the Product in any way.
- Environmental Damage: Issues caused by extreme temperatures or conditions (e.g., ice, rust, corrosion, pitting).
- Theft or Attempted Theft: Damage or loss due to theft-related incidents.
- Loss of Product: Stolen or misplaced Products.
- Third-Party Purchases: Products bought from unauthorized sellers.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Expected deterioration from regular use.
- Finishes: Paint, coatings, or other surface finishes (see Section 9).
TRIMAX ™ is not liable for damages exceeding the original purchase price of the Product, nor for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of use, vehicle downtime, lost profits, towing or rental costs, property damage, emotional distress, attorney’s fees, or travel expenses. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to You.
-
How Long Does This Warranty Last?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty remains in effect for the duration of Your ownership of the Product, beginning from the date of purchase as verified by Your original sales receipt.
-
What Is Your Remedy for a Defective Product?
If TRIMAX ™determines the Product is defective, Your sole remedy is a replacement Product provided free of charge. TRIMAX ™ reserves the right to determine eligibility for replacement in its sole discretion. Shipping costs for returning the defective Product to TRIMAX ™ and receiving the replacement are Your responsibility. This Warranty does not cover costs related to installation, removal, handling, or any other associated expenses.

What Additional Terms Apply?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is Your exclusive Warranty from TRIMAX ™. What Qualifies as a “Product Defect”?
A “Product Defect” is a flaw in material or workmanship present when the Product left TRIMAX™’s control, as determined solely by TRIMAX ™. Not every issue qualifies as a defect. Exclusions include:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual deterioration from regular use is not covered.
- Misuse or Abuse:
- Accidents: Products are not designed to withstand severe impacts.
- Overloading: Exceeding the Product’s rated capacity per its instructions.
- Improper Installation: TRIMAX ™ is not responsible for third-party installation errors.
- Misapplication: Using the Product for an unintended purpose.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Alterations by anyone other than TRIMAX ™.
- Incompatible Accessories: Use of non- TRIMAX ™ accessories that affect performance.
- Neglect: Failure to follow maintenance instructions provided with the Product. It is recommended that products are lubricated periodically, covered during cold weather (such as with a towel, sock, etc.), and thoroughly inspected before each use.
If damage occurs after the Product leaves TRIMAX ™, it is not considered a defect under this warranty.
-
Are Product Finishes Covered?
No. This warranty does not cover finishes (e.g., paint, coatings) on any TRIMAX ™ Product, as these are subject to normal wear and environmental factors.
